1 killed, 1 injured in Malibu crash; SigAlert issued

MALIBU, Calif. (KABC) —

A man was killed and a woman seriously injured following a two-vehicle collision in Malibu Saturday morning.

Paramedics were dispatched to the scene at 6:22 a.m. after their small sedan was struck by a pickup truck. The pickup truck crashed into at least two parked vehicles, both of which had occupants inside, sheriff’s deputies said.

At least one person had to be extricated from a vehicle.

The California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert closing all eastbound lanes on Pacific Coast Highway between Corral Canyon Road and Puerto in Malibu until 11 a.m.
