4 injured as chase ends in 6-vehicle crash in Rancho Cucamonga

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (KABC) —

Four people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash at the end of a chase in Rancho Cucamonga Wednesday afternoon.

The crash, which involved six vehicles, occurred at the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and Hermosa Avenue at about 4 p.m.

The victims were transported to a local hospital with major injuries.

It was not immediately clear why police were chasing the suspect, but the chase allegedly began in Ontario. The intersection will remain closed for at least an hour.
