Army Parachutist Dies After Chicago Air and Water Show Accident

A member of the U.S. Army parachute team has died, one day after he was injured in a jump at the Chicago Air and Water Show, a spokesman for the U.S. Army parachute team told ABC News.
The parachutist, identified as 32-year-old Sgt. 1st Class Corey Hood, of Cincinnati, Ohio, died from the injuries he sustained Saturday, the spokesman said.
Hood and a Navy sailor were parachuting Saturday when they collided midair. The sailor was in stable condition at Northwestern Memorial Hospital with a lower leg fracture, a Navy spokeswoman said.
