CORONA: Five-car-crash shuts down lane on I-15/91 interchange (UPDATE 3)

Five cars crashed Wednesday, Sept. 2, on the Interstate 15/Highway 91 interchange in Corona.

The crash, which was reported at 7:32 a.m., completely blocked the transfer road from northbound Interstate 15 to westbound Highway 91, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log.� That prompted Caltrans to issue a SigAlert for the transfer road at 7:48 a.m.

Debris was reported to be “all over the roadway.”

By 8 a.m. Wednesday, the roadway was opened back up to traffic and the SigAlert had been lifted.
