Crash involving 2 semi-trucks block lanes on eastbound 60 Freeway in Diamond Bar

DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (KABC) —
A crash involving two semi-trucks blocked multiple lanes on the eastbound 60 Freeway in Diamond Bar early Friday morning.
The collision occurred around 1:20 a.m. just past the Grand Avenue exit. All but two eastbound lanes were back open by around 7:30 a.m. The California Highway Patrol estimated all lanes to be back open by 9 a.m.
A stalled semi was rear-ended by another semi. A 43-year-old man in the second semi suffered major injuries to his legs. It took crews more than an hour to get him out of the cab of the semi.
It remains unclear if the crash was caused by rain.
