FONTANA: Traffic accidents kill two

Two men died in separate traffic accidents in Fontana on Friday, June 5, officials said.
Regelio Garcia Donis, 55, of Fontana was the rear passenger in a 1989 Toyota Camry that collided with the center divider in the 15800 block of Valley Boulevard at about 1:30 p.m., according to a San Bernardino County Coroner’s press release.
He was taken to Kaiser Foundation Hospital, where he was pronounced dead about 2 p.m., the release said.
At 7 p.m., Johnny Perez, 53, of Yucaipa was driving east on San Bernardino Avenue at Encina Street in Fontana when he drifted to the curb. His vehicle side-swiped a parked car and hit a tree, according to the coroner’s office.
He was taken to Kaiser Fontana Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Both accidents are under investigation.
