The California Highway Patrol is asking for help from the public to identify a vehicle that left the scene of a major-injury crash with a motorcycle on Saturday in Homeland.
About 12:35 p.m., a 43-year-old Homeland man riding a 1997 Suzuki RM 125 off-road motorcycle was hit by another vehicle after pulling onto Robertson Street just east of Leon Road from a private driveway, a CHP news release said.
The driver of the unidentified vehicle fled, CHP officials said.
The rider was taken to Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Moreno Valley with severe injuries.
Authorities ask that anyone with information about the vehicle call the CHP Temecula-area office at 951-506-2000.
