INDIO: Indio Blvd. crash kills driver, 20

A nighttime single-car crash killed a 20-year-old motorist in Indio, police say.

The victim died at the scene of the 10:40 p.m. wreck Tuesday, March 10, along the 83-700 block of Indio Boulevard.�

Riverside County coroner’s officials had not released his name by Wednesday evening.

The man was driving a red westbound Toyota Camry that hit a utility pole on the north side of the roadway and then slammed into a building, Sgt. Dan Marshall said in a written statement.
