A fatal motorcycle crash in Jurupa Valley killed a 27-year-old Harley Davidson rider who hit a slower moving vehicle and then was struck by another motorist, sheriff’s officials say.
The motorcyclist, identified by the Coroner’s Office Christopher Padilla, died at the scene of the 7:30 p.m. wreck Wednesday, Sept. 16, along Limonite Avenue near Bain Street in the city’s Mira Loma area.
The Harley rider was a Jurupa Valley resident who was traveling east, sheriff’s Sgt. Bill Davis said Thursday in a written statement.
The crash knocked the rider into the westbound lanes, where he was hit by a westbound vehicle, according to the statement.
