JURUPA VALLEY: Pedestrian escaped crash with minor injuries (UPDATE)

Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a vehicle v. pedestrian crash Friday, Oct. 16 in Jurupa Valley.

The crash occurred about 7:26 a.m. at the intersection of Mission Boulevard and La Rue Street, said Deputy Armando Munoz. The pedestrian suffered minor injuries in the crash and was transported via ambulance to a local hospital.

Munoz said the driver stopped after hitting the pedestrian and cooperated with law enforcement.� No arrests were made in the incident.

By 8:22 a.m., deputies cleared the intersection.
