Man killed in hit-and-run crash in Rialto

RIALTO, Calif. (KABC) —
A man was killed by a hit-and-run driver while crossing the street on Foothill Boulevard, east of Cedar Avenue, in Rialto Friday night.
Shortly after 10 p.m., Rialto police officers received a call regarding a pedestrian being hit by a car. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man lying on the road.
Witnesses at the scene said the suspect was driving a light blue car that looked similar to a Chrysler 300 and that the car fled east down Foothill Boulevard after hitting the victim.
The man suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where he later died. The investigation is ongoing.
