MEAD VALLEY: Perris man arrested in fatal Cajalco Road crash

A 53-year-old Perris man is under arrest in a hit-and-run crash that killed a motorcyclist, say California Highway Patrol officers.

Carlos Guadalupe Ochoa was arrested at 9:05 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, and booked for investigation of gross vehicular manslaughter and hit-and-run driving in the April 30 along Cajalco Road, Officer Travis Monks said in a written statement.

The accident happened about 2:30 p.m. when the victim entered the eastbound left-turn lane while� approaching Brown Street in Mead Valley, CHP investigators said at the time.

Ochoa is believed to have been the driver of the yellow 2003 Ford F150 pickup truck that investigators say hit the rider, who died the following day at Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Moreno Valley.
