MORENO VALLEY: Hemet woman, 89, dies in freeway crash

An 89-year-old Hemet woman died early Sunday, Aug. 16, after the car she was in crashed on Interstate 215 near Moreno Valley.
Her name has not been released.
The incident was reported at 3:06 a.m., as a multi-car crash near the intersection of Alessandro Boulevard.
Cal Fire/Riverside County firefighters responded and found the unresponsive woman, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The Fire Department did not specify whether she was a driver or passenger.
Another person suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital, according to a Fire Department news release.
