MORENO VALLEY: Motorcycle rider dies in crash

A motorcycle rider died Wednesday, Sept. 9, in a crash in Moreno Valley, Riverside County Sheriff’s Department officials said in a news release.

The man’s name, age, and hometown were not disclosed in the news release, which was issued Friday.

The motorcycle rider was traveling east on Alessandro Boulevard near Perris Boulevard about 12:15 p.m. Wednesday when a car pulled out of a business onto the road, the news release said.

The motorcycle and the car collided, causing the rider to be ejected from the motorcycle.

Paramedics arrived at the scene and transported him to a hospital where he later died.

The eastbound lanes of Alessandro Boulevard between Perris Boulevard and� Appleblossom Lane remained closed for about two hours after the accident while deputies reconstructed the crash for their investigation.
