MORONGO CANYON: Two dead in plane crash (UPDATE)

A plane crash killed two people northwest of the Big Morongo Canyon Preserve on Saturday, Oct. 17, a sheriff’s official said.
The crash was reported near Fork Springs, said Jodi Miller, spokeswoman for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.� What time the plane crashed occurred or the exact location were unavailable, Miller said.
The National Transportation Safety Board was investigating the incident but had very few details confirmed Saturday night, said spokesman Terry Williams.
Officials were unable to confirm the victims’ names, time of the crash and the exact location Saturday night.
