Riverside man identified as motorcyclist who died in 91 Freeway crash
A 40-year-old Riverside man was identified as the motorcyclist who died Tuesday afternoon when he crashed into a guardrail next to the 91 Freeway.
Joshua Jones was riding his Suzuki bike east on the freeway in Riverside when the California Highway Patrol said he abruptly turned from the middle-right lane into the University Avenue off-ramp.
He crashed into the guardrail at the point that divides the off-ramp from the freeway, and was ejected from his motorcycle. He was wearing a helmet, but died from his injuries, the CHP said. Jones was identified by the Riverside County Coroner’s office.
