The man who died when he was thrown from the SUV he was driving on the 91 freeway in Riverside was identified Monday, Oct. 5, as Timothy Fitzpatrick Jr., 31, of Riverside.
The crash happened at 12:50 p.m. Sunday in the eastbound lanes, west of Adams Street. Fitzpatrick was pronounced dead at 1:02 p.m., the Riverside County Coroner’s Office said.
A witness told authorities that the driver attempted to pass a car, overcompensated and overturned, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log.
