RUNNING SPRINGS: Hwy. 330 crash kills local woman

A spin-out crash killed a 64-year-old Running Springs woman along a highway near that hilltop community in the San Bernardino Mountains, say county coroner’s and California Highway Patrol officials.

Shelley Street died at the scene of the 7:15 a.m. wreck Friday, � July 17, along Highway 330 between Live Oak Drive and the middle passing lane.

She was driving south in a white 2003 Toyota Camry that went out of control in a left-hand turn, spun across the northbound lanes and hit a metal drainage gate before overturning, said CHP Officer Garret Morris.

“It does not appear she was seat belted,” he said.
