A driver killed in a red-light accident this week in San Bernardino was a 35-year-old Highland resident, say county coroner’s officials.
Carlos Martinez-Fernandez died at the scene of the 2:50 p.m. wreck Wednesday, July 29, at Waterman Avenue and Sixth Street.
He apparently ran a red light moments before his 2000 Mercury Mountaineer slammed into a tow truck driven by 36-year-old San Bernardino resident Miguel Maldonado, police said soon after the crash.
