SAN BERNARDINO MOUNTAINS: Motorcycle crash blocks lanes

A motorcycle rider crashed on a windy mountain road northeast of Big Bear Lake, and lanes were blocked, CHP officials said.
The victim went down about 3:08 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, on Highway 18 near Cactus Flats about three miles south of the Mitsubishi cement plant, a CHP incident logs.
Northbound lanes were blocked.� Paramedics were called to the scene but no details on injuries were available.
