SAN JACINTO: Motorist in critical condition after head-on crash on Gilman Springs Road

Five people were injured, including one critically, in a head-on crash on Gilman Springs Road on Thursday morning, June 4.
Gilman Springs was closed west of Bridge Street for the investigation, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.
The collision was reported at 8:03 a.m. near Mystic Lake. A brown or gold SUV was reported to be driving out of control before the crash, the California Highway Patrol website said. One person was trapped in a white Toyota pickup.
A chaplain was requested to go to a hospital, the CHP said.
The other injuries were described as minor to moderate.
