SAN JACINTO: Traffic accident triggers Sanderson Avenue shutdown

Sanderson Avenue is expected to reopen soon after a two-vehicle accident closed the regional road in San Jacinto almost four hours ago Saturday, March 7.�
Two vehicles collided on Sanderson Avenue at Ramona Boulevard. One of the vehicle occupants was ejected and sustained critical injuries, according to Riverside County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Deputy Damian Ruiz. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The accident, just south of the Ramona Expressway, was reported at 6:23 p.m. The four-lane road was closed from Ramona Boulevard south to Cottonwood Avenue.
