Semi-truck, multiple cars involved in crash on 10 Freeway in West Covina

WEST COVINA, Calif. (KABC) —

A crash involving a semi-truck and at least nine other cars snarled traffic on the westbound 10 Freeway in West Covina early Monday morning.

The crash occurred heading downhill just before the Holt Avenue exit around 5:30 a.m. All lanes were initially shut down, but lanes started reopening around 6:45 a.m.

Multiple injuries were reported, but details were not immediately available.

Traffic was backed up for miles. Commuters were advised to consider the westbound 210 or westbound 60 freeways as possible alternates.
