TEMECULA: Woman killed in single-car crash identified

The Riverside County Coroner’s Office on Saturday, Sept. 26, released the name of a Temecula woman who died Friday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Temecula.

Francoise Kershaw, 25, died about 9:50 a.m. where the crash occurred on Vail Lake Parkway south of Johnston Drive. Additionally, the crash hospitalized two people with major injuries. Their conditions were unknown Saturday.

All three� victims had to be cut out of the wreckage of a gray Mazda sedan.� Sgt. Chad Loeffler of the Temecula Police Department on Friday said that when the car struck a curb, the driver lost control and collided head-on with a tree in the center median.

All lanes of Vail Ranch Parkway between Johnston Drive and Nighthawk Pass were closed for around six hours while officers conducted an investigation to determine the cause of the collision.
