Woman killed in hit-and-run crash in Bellflower

BELLFLOWER, Calif. (KABC) —
A 30-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash while crossing the street in Bellflower Saturday night.
Traffic detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lakewood Station received a call regarding the hit-and-run crash around 9:45 p.m.
The woman, identified as Makeda More, was found at the intersection of Lakewood Boulevard and Los Angeles Street. The woman had been heading westbound down the street when she was hit by the driver, who fled the scene.
More was transported to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The car was described as a dark colored Nissan with substantial damage to the front bumper and windshield.
