Three men remained at large Tuesday, Oct. 6, after driving a van through the glass doors of a Yucca Valley pharmacy and stealing an ATM machine.

The incident occurred at 2:19 a.m. Tuesday at the Walgreens at 58133 Twentynine Palms Highway in Yucca Valley, according to a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department news release.

A burglary alarm alerted Sheriff’s deputies, who arrived at the scene and learned what happened. According to the news release, the men fled the scene after loading the ATM into the van.

Deputies located the van a short distance from the crime scene. It was still running and had been “hot wired,” the news release said.
