One person died and another was injured Tuesday morning, Dec. 26, in a car crash in Fountain Valley, police said. The crash happened shortly after 5:30 a.m. near Euclid Street and Warner Avenue and one person was taken to a hospital, according to Metronet, a fire dispatch service. Investigators on scene confirmed that one person had died and another was hospitalized. Details about the crash or condition of the surviving victim were not immediately available. A coroner van was seen at the crash site. Investigators were still on scene shortly before 8 a.m. and had closed part of the intersection.
