A Murrieta man died early Sunday evening after the Mazda 3 he was driving left the roadway at Bundy Canyon Road west of Almond Street in Wildomar, hit a chain-link fence and crashed into a cinder-block wall, authorities said.
Brandon Brown, 23, died at the scene shortly after the 5:24 p.m. accident, the Riverside County Coroner’s Office said on Monday.
Alcohol and drugs may have been a factor in the crash, a sheriff’s statement said.
Anyone with information was asked to call the Lake Elsinore sheriff’s station at 951-245-3300.
